Fiberglass enclosures and reglazing
A new fiberglass stall, or a new finish on the one you have. Both cost less than a full remodel, and both can be done without taking the bathroom out of service for a week.
Fiberglass is not acrylic
Acrylic products may be reinforced with glass. Fiberglass is woven glass fibers mixed with polyester resin, laid in a mold. The result is a stall that installs quickly — in some cases in a single day — and sits well below the cost of a new iron or steel tub.
- More affordable than cast iron or steel
- A wide range of models
- Easy to repair and patch
- Can be resurfaced later
- Simple to clean
- A typical lifespan of 10 to 15 years
If the old tub or shower is worn out and the budget is a full remodel you are not ready for, this is the job we do instead.
Reglazing and refinishing
The finish on a fiberglass enclosure is what protects it. When it stains or discolors, the unit does not have to come out. We apply a new finish to the existing shower or tub — including small cracks that can be repaired rather than replaced.
We reglaze countertops, showers, sinks and tubs, and we can refinish tile walls as well. It is how a stall that is still structurally fine gets another stretch of useful life.
